(1) Note

The online registration system will be closed after 23rd, Sept. . Kindly complete online registration &reservation before the deadline. On-site registration will also be accepted at registration area from 16th, Oct. to 19th, Oct..

(2) Early bird registration
  • Early bird registration to PMAPS2016 will be closed on 21st Aug 2016.
  • Only the papers registered online before 21st Aug 2016, will be published in the Proceedings of PMAPS 2016 and be indexed in IEEE Xplore and EI.
  • All participants are requested to register online so that the Organizing Committee could arrange logistics for all delegates.
  • It may need a relatively long time for obtaining a visa at Chinese consulates. Participants are encouraged to register the PMAPS 2016 and obtain the invitation letter as early as possible, preferably before August 2016. Click here for more information on Registration and Invitation letter.
(3) Cheap hotels

Four cheap hotels that are close to the conference's Friendship Hotel are available. You can book your room by yourselves through their websites. They provide services in English. If you are not a Chinese citizen, you must provide your valid passport and visa. Click here for more information at the end on the "Accommodation" page.

(4) Tutorial book

A tutorial book (instructors' materials) will be provided to all tutorial participants. Since the tutorial will begin at 8:40 AM, Oct. 16, please complete your registration and pick up tutorial books at 7:30-8:20 AM. Click here for more information on Tutorial.

(5) Student Paper Awards

To acknowledge and encourage the excellence of students in the area of probabilistic methods applied to power systems, the "Best Student Paper Award" is established at the 2016 PMAPS conference. Eligibility for the award is restricted to the papers authored or coauthored by a student (undergraduate, MS degree candidate and Ph.D. candidate) as the first author shown in an accepted paper. The student must present the paper. The award consists of a certificate and some cash.
Student paper award evaluation process: The program committee of PMAPS 2016 will nominate 10 best conference papers with the first author being a student who has registered the conference online, based on the outcomes of the paper reviews. The selection committee including the PMAPS board directors will determine 6 from the 10 nominated papers for the winners of the student paper awards of PMAPS 2016.
