Student Paper Awards

To acknowledge and encourage the excellence of students in the area of probabilistic methods applied to power systems, the “Best Student Paper Award” is established at the 2016 PMAPS conference. Eligibility for the award is restricted to the papers authored or coauthored by a student (undergraduate, MS degree candidate and Ph.D. candidate) as the first author shown in an accepted paper. The student must present the paper. The award consists of a certificate and some cash.

Student paper award evaluation process: The program committee of PMAPS 2016 will nominate 10 best conference papers with the first author being a student who has registered the conference online, based on the outcomes of the paper reviews. The selection committee including the PMAPS board directors will determine 6 from the 10 nominated papers for the winners of the student paper awards of PMAPS 2016.
